Do we collect and drop off at the Port?
All Tauranga cruise ship tours start and end at the Port of Tauranga. We will be inside the Port terminal when you disembark from your ship.
What happens if my cruise ship arrives in Port late?
Our tours operate around your cruise ships arrival and departure times, as they can vary. Tino Pai Tours DO NOT depart the tour without you, we will be inside the Port terminal when you disembark from your ship.
Do I need to book in advance?
Our peak season is October through until the end of April, so yes we strongly recommend you book ahead.
Do you accept cash on the day of the tour?
We accept cash and credit card on the day of the tour.
What should I bring on a tour?
We advise you wear comfortable clothing, bring a light jacket, walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a sun hat.
Do I need to organise a child car seat?
When booking a child please inform us of age so we can ensure we can provide the correct child seat as per New Zealand child restraint laws.
Children 0 – 7 years of age need a car seat/booster by NZ law. All costs for seat are included in your tour.

Are your team trained in First Aid?
Tino Pai Tours entire team are trained, competent Fist Aiders having completed the Comprehensive Workplace First Aid Course. A Comprehensive First Aid course ensures we know what to do in an emergency or at the scene of an accident. Being able to act as first responder confidently, while waiting for medical professionals to arrive, is essential to helping others and saving lives.
